Abundant living, what is it? How can you have an abundant life? Dictionary.com defines abundant as "present in great quantity; more than adequate; oversufficient." Is it possible to have a life that is in great quantity? We only have one life. We are born, we grow, and then we die. There is no life part two and no mulligans. So, how do we live a life in great quantity? To begin, we must realize that. since we only have one life, our time on this earth is limited. Armed with the knowledge that our days are numbered, we must make time our priority. Every moment must become precious. Every year is important, every day is crucial, and every minute is vital. Once our time is prioritized, we are ready for the next step.

Understanding what is truly important is next. Having a luxurious house is nice, but building a home of love is important. Acquaintances to hang out with is fun, but friends that you consider family are important. Keeping up with favorite sports teams is a way of life for some, but watching your children learn teamwork and commitment on the local soccer team is important. Good financial planning is necessary, but providing for your families needs, especially their emotional and relationship needs, is important. Going to church is good, but participating in ministry is important. Learning about God is positive, but having a personal relationship with Him is important.

Abundant living is not about a great quantity of lives but rather a great quantity of meaningful moments in the life we have. It's about having a loving home, meaningful relationships, and contributing positively to others. The question we must ask is: "how are we capitalizing on every moment we have?" m defines abundant as "present in great quantity; more than adequate; oversufficient."
